Smaller projects are not without their impact. In this case, a modern villa whose panoramic views over protected lakeside environment was simply obliterated by the existing building itself. The client wanted a simple extension to frame the view. We took the opportunity to replace the terrace tiles and tidy things up to bring the extension, terrace and pool into some cohesive connectivity. A terrace extends from the extension to unify the inside/outside space. Now, with doors open the outside becomes the inside and the view takes centre stage. With the added panoramic terrace above for sitting out for an even better view.
